Spent $40 on a whole pork shoulder and fed my family for a week

I smoked one 8-pound shoulder for like 8 hours and we had pulled pork sandwiches, tacos, and even threw some into fried rice. Has anyone else found a single meat cut that stretches further than they expected?

lol the shoulder is basically the king of budget cuts, but careful with carnitas it's actually easy to overcook it that way and turn it dry.

Yeah that $40 shoulder goes a long way, I did the same thing with carnitas and it lasted like five meals.
