Question about buying a $40 rice cooker instead of a $15 one
I cook for 3 people on about $75 a week for groceries and I kept hearing that a cheap rice cooker was fine, so I grabbed a $15 one at Walmart on Elm Street. It burned the bottom of every batch and I replaced it inside 2 months, which basically ate the savings. My sister says her $40 Aroma has run 5 days a week since 2021 with no issues. So do you splurge once on a tool that lasts, or keep buying cheap and swapping out? Curious what worked for you.
