PSA: I read that a single rotisserie chicken can make three meals for under $10 total

Found this in a library cookbook from 2015, and it works if you use the bones for broth. Anyone have other cheap protein stretches like this?

Yeah lily_dixon27 is right, three meals is the bare minimum. I can get a whole week of lunches from one chicken if I make a giant pot of chicken and rice soup, just keep adding more rice and frozen veggies to the broth.

Honestly lily_dixon27 has a point about three meals not being much. My local grocery store sells those chickens for $8 now, so the math from 2015 doesn't really work anymore. You can stretch a chicken further by shredding the meat for tacos or adding it to a big pot of soup with cheap veggies.
