My brother in law said he feeds his family of 4 on $75 a week and I want to know how
We were at his place in Akron last weekend for a cookout and he mentioned their grocery bill runs about $75 a week for two adults and two kids. I spend closer to $180 for just me and my wife, so I asked him what they actually eat. He said beans, rice, eggs, and whatever meat is marked down that day, plus he buys the 10 pound bag of chicken legs instead of breasts. He also said they almost never buy snacks or drinks, which is probably where half my bill comes from. I want to try this but I am worried we will get bored of the same meals by day four. What are some cheap dinners you actually rotate through without hating them by the end of the week?
