Frozen veggie bags at the dollar store were a total trap

I bought 4 bags of mixed frozen vegetables from there because they were only a buck each, but they were mostly ice and stems with barely any actual veggies. After thawing, I got maybe half a cup of edible stuff out of the whole $4 batch. Has anyone else gotten burned by those cheap freezer bags?

Girl, I got burned the exact same way with those dollar store mixed veggies last month. The bag was basically frozen water with some sad little carrot cubes floating around. I was so mad I almost drove back to complain but figured it wasn't worth the gas money.

sad little carrot cubes" - that killed me. I bought a bag of store brand peas and carrots once and it was like 90% pea water. Had to make soup just to hide the evidence.
