Tried the $0 library tool loan thing after my $90 drill died mid shelf build
My cordless drill quit on me in the middle of putting up two shelves in my garage about a month ago, and I almost dropped $90 on a new one at the hardware store off Cedar Road. Then a neighbor mentioned the county library here in Akron actually lends out drills, saws, and even a stud finder for free with just my card. I picked one up that Saturday, finished the shelves in an afternoon, and returned it Monday with zero dollars spent. Does anyone else use their local library's tool library, and what random stuff have you been able to borrow?
