Shoutout to the library card I ignored for 30 years

I finally used my local library in Denver to borrow a $40 book on appliance repair instead of buying it, and fixed my dryer with a $6 belt from Amazon. The whole fix took me one afternoon and saved me the $120 service call fee the repair shop quoted. Anyone else using library resources for hands-on stuff, or am I the last one to catch on?

Broke my garage door opener last spring and grabbed the repair manual from my library instead of dropping $80 on a new one.
