DAE hit up the dollar store on a Tuesday morning and realize it's way better than a Saturday run?
So I was at the Dollar Tree on 5th in my town last week, just grabbing some sponges and dish soap, and the whole place was empty except for like three people. I had this moment where I remembered going there on a Saturday two months ago and it was a zoo, people everywhere, shelves picked clean of the good stuff. The cashier told me that Tuesdays around 10am are the sweet spot because the truck comes Monday night and restocks everything, and nobody's there yet. I ended up finding the brand name cleaning spray I like for a buck, which I never see on weekends because it's gone by noon. I also grabbed a pack of those microfiber cloths that I use for everything, and they had a full bin of them. Now I only go on Tuesday mornings, and I save probably $15 a month just by not having to go to the regular grocery store for small stuff. Has anyone else figured out a weird day or time that makes a store way less stressful and cheaper for them?
