Can we talk about how a $20 shower head cut my water bill by $15 a month?
Our water bill in Mesa was creeping up to $70 a month and I could not figure out why. I grabbed a low-flow shower head at the hardware store for about $20 and swapped it in myself in like 10 minutes. Next bill dropped to $55 and the shower still feels just as strong. I know that is not a huge pile of cash but $180 a year for one cheap part is pretty solid. Anyone else got a small swap like this that paid for itself fast?
My track record with home fixes is mostly me flooding something and calling my dad, so you're already winning. Swapped our old toilet flapper for like 8 bucks a while back and the thing stopped running all night. Paid for itself in a month it felt like.
