Call me crazy but that $50 vacuum sealer I got from a yard sale has saved me more money this month than any coupon app ever could
Found it in Boulder last Saturday for $20 less than the cheap ones online and after sealing up 12 pounds of ground beef from the discount bin at Safeway I saved like $40 in food waste alone has anyone else found a random gadget that actually pays for itself?

Got a $5 bread machine at Goodwill that paid itself off in two loaves.

That finding at Goodwill for $5 is a steal. I actually just read a piece online about how bread machines are making a comeback because people are tired of $8 loaves at the store. I've seen some folks say even the cheap thrift store models work great for years, @paige_ellis59. My neighbor found one for $8 at a garage sale and she uses it every Sunday now. What's your go-to bread recipe with it?
