During the team barbecue, I disagreed about stacking bricks in the rain.
They called it brave, but wet bricks slip too much.

Last summer I dropped three bricks and everyone saw, so my opinion on stacking them is pretty much worthless now.

Totally get it @gray_lane, I once stacked a whole pyramid just to watch it tip over immediately.

Gray's story about dropping bricks is rough. I had a similar thing happen with wet patio stones. What worked for me was using a little sand between the layers. Just a handful. Gives them something to grip on. It's not perfect but it stopped that sliding.
