An old mason on my crew said to stop buttering the whole brick, just the end, and my joints got cleaner in 2 days
Guy has 31 years in and I figured he was just set in his ways, but he said extra mortar squeezes out and makes a mess you gotta tool later. Been doing the end-dip on this garage wall in Dayton and my cleanup time got cut way down, anyone else get taught it the other way?
