My grinder jammed at 6am and the bypass trick saved my morning

Tbh, I was mid-pour over in my kitchen when my Baratza just seized on some oily beans from a new batch I roasted last Sunday. I pulled the burr chamber, tapped out the stuck pieces with a chopstick, and got it running in 10 minutes flat, has anyone else had oily roasts kill their grinder like that?
