Neighbor in Keene laughed at me for hanging laundry in January

I was out stringing up a load of jeans on the line last week when it was 15 degrees, and this guy from down the street stops his truck to tell me I'm wasting my time because they'll freeze solid... He didn't get that they'll still dry, just slower. Anyone else have people question your winter drying methods?

Laughed at the guy right back and told him my grandpa used to dry his long johns in a Minnesota winter, so I think I'll manage. Bet he's the same type who thinks you need a heated driveway too.

Oh wow, no way! @the_elliot you actually laughed in his face? That's incredible. I would've just stared at him with my mouth open, too stunned to say anything. Honestly though, who dries their clothes outside in single digit temps unless they absolutely have to? That guy must think we all live in beach houses or something. Minnesota winters are no joke, but we figure out how to survive just fine without all the fancy stuff.
