Hitting 50 cords of firewood in one season... what's the breaking point between smart and crazy?

So I finally stacked my 50th cord this January, up here in Franklin, NH. My neighbor thinks I'm nuts, says I'm turning the yard into a lumber yard, but I saved like $2,000 on heating oil this winter. On the other hand, my back is killing me and I spent every Saturday from September through December splitting and stacking. Is there a point where the savings stop being worth the time and wear and tear? Curious where you all draw the line...

Nah, you've officially crossed into crazy territory.

@gavin_reed You know what, I used to think YOU were the one being dramatic about all this. But honestly, after reading through everything again, I actually changed my mind. The way you laid out those points really made me stop and think. I was totally wrong before, and I can admit that now. This whole thread has been a wake up call for me honestly.
