Am I the only one who spent 7 hours tracking down a rattle in a new dryer that was just a shipping bolt?
Bought a new dryer from a place in Concord and it started thumping on the first spin, so I called and they said it was probably my floor being unlevel. I spent 7 hours over two evenings pulling the back panel, checking the drum rollers, and even shimming the feet with a level, and the noise stayed the same. Turned out there was one shipping bolt left in the back corner that I missed, and pulling it killed the rattle in about 10 seconds. I felt like a total idiot but also honestly relieved it was not a real problem. Did any of you get a "you have to remove these" warning that you blew right past?
