Swapped out my plastic pots for terracotta and my succulents finally stopped dying

Used to keep everything in those cheap nursery containers because I thought it saved money. After losing three echeverias to rot in 6 months, I switched to unglazed terracotta last spring and I've only had one casualty since. Anybody else notice a big difference after changing pot materials?

Did you change your watering schedule with the switch or just the pots?
