My neighbor told me to stop watering my lavender so much, and it worked.
He saw my plants looking sad last summer and said, 'That's a Mediterranean plant, it likes to be dry.' I was watering them every other day. I cut back to once a week, and after about a month, they perked up and flowered like crazy. Anyone else have a plant that thrived once you started ignoring it a bit?

Ever try that with rosemary? Heard it's the same deal, hates wet feet.

What, you think rosemary is some kind of desert cactus? It still needs a drink now and then, just not a flood.

Wait, you were watering lavender every other day? That's wild, mine would have turned to mush in a week. I'm shocked they even made it to last summer looking just sad.
