My barista pointed out the tiny flowers on my coffee plant and called them 'jasmine-scented', which I'd never noticed in my own kitchen.
She told me to check for them at night when they open, and now I'm obsessed with watching my plant's 8pm bloom show every evening.

I was exactly like @wright.luna with my first coffee plant, just a stick for months. Then I moved it to a bright window and started watering it when the top inch of soil felt dry, not on a schedule. Now it's got those tiny flowers and I check them every night at 8.

My coffee plant is still just a leafy stick in a pot. Maybe I need to water it more than once a month for it to get fancy.
