Found a weird little cactus growing in a crack at the old Tucson train station

I was walking around the old downtown station last month and spotted a tiny hedgehog cactus, maybe two inches tall, just living in a gap in the pavement. It had a single pink flower on it, which seems crazy for such a tough spot. Has anyone else seen a plant thriving somewhere it really shouldn't?

Seriously? It's a cactus in the desert. That's literally what they DO. They're BUILT for cracks and hard places. Not exactly a miracle.

But it's still pretty cool though.
