Dropped $30 on a "rare" monstera node from an Etsy seller and it was just a wet stick in a bag
The listing showed roots and a new leaf, but what showed up was a shriveled brown cutting that rotted within 5 days in my prop box. I should've asked for a photo of the actual node with a date stamp, not just a stock pic. Any tips for spotting sketchy plant sellers before I get burned again?
