Hit book 200 last Tuesday and honestly the number annoyed me

Everyone says the 200th rebind is some big turning point, but mine just felt like Tuesday. What actually mattered was book 173, a water damaged 1908 hymnal for a lady in Council Bluffs, where I finally stopped rushing the spine glue and let it cure a full 24 hours. Anyone else have a random number that taught them more than the so called milestone?

Wait, was it the glue cure time itself or the fact that someone trusted you with something that old and fragile? Sometimes the job that slows you down is the one that actually teaches you something.
