Found my old notes from a repair job three years back

I was cleaning out my bench drawer last week and found the paper I scribbled on when I fixed a 1908 poetry book for the local library. My notes were just a mess of pencil marks and glue spots. Last month, I redid my whole record system with a proper project log, but seeing that old sheet made me miss how simple things felt back then. What's your method for keeping track of repairs and materials now?

Honestly, it's a total mess right now. I tried a fancy digital template but just went back to my old notebook. Something about writing it down by hand makes it feel more real, you know? I keep telling myself I'll organize it better next week.

Relate so hard to that. My own project log is a sad stack of sticky notes and half a napkin with coffee rings on it. The fancy app I bought just stares at me from my home screen, judging my chaos.
