Unpopular opinion: hitting 50 books in a year is way too easy if you pick short ones
I crushed 52 books last year but half were under 200 pages, and I feel like a fraud telling people I read "50 books" lol. Does anyone else feel like book count goals just make you hunt for quick reads instead of good ones?

My 47 books last year included a graphic novel I read in 20 minutes and a children's book from 1987, so I basically peaked as a "reader" in third grade.

Right? @sarah229 and I should start a club for people who technically read 47 books but really just skimmed a picture book from the 80s lmao. My list last year was padded with novellas that took less time than my morning coffee.
