Last Tuesday at the Maplewood library someone argued Hamlet was actually about mental illness, not revenge, and this retired English teacher shot it down by quoting the graveyard scene for 10 minutes straight. Honestly it made me rethink how we lean on author intent vs what's plain on the page. Is there a polite way to tell a member they're overreaching without killing the vibe?
