Spent $30 on a used book about debating techniques
Found it at a thrift store, figured it'd help settle our club's arguments faster. Turns out it's actually a guide for competitive debate, not book club squabbles. Anybody else pick up a book that was totally different from what you expected?

Got that same reaction when I brought up deductive reasoning at Thanksgiving. Total chaos.
