Heard two people arguing about a book's ending at the coffee shop yesterday
One guy said the main character definitely died, the other swore he just moved to Florida. They were both reading the same mystery novel from our local book club list. The 'Florida' guy got so loud he spilled his latte. It made me realize how much we bring our own stuff into what we read. Has your book club ever had a fight that got that heated over an ending?
