Found out our old shop foreman's dad built the boiler at the St. Louis armory in '58

I was digging through some union hall archives last month and saw his name on a 1958 inspection card for that job, had no idea that thing's been running 67 years, anyone else ever stumble on a piece of history like that?

Sixty-seven years on the same boiler is wild. That thing has probably outlasted every truck and tool in that shop. A 1958 inspection card surviving in the archives is even crazier, those old union records usually end up in a dumpster or a basement flood. Makes you wonder how many other 50s relics are still quietly humming away in old buildings.
