Found out my old pressure gauge was lying to me by 40 psi
Last Tuesday I was checking a drum on a job over in Baton Rouge and something felt off with the readings. I pulled the gauge off and tested it against my calibration kit, turns out it was reading 40 psi low the whole time. That meant for the last few months I was overpressurizing on jobs and never knew it. How often do you guys actually trust your gauges over your gut, or do you test them on a set schedule?
