Dual shield or stick for field repairs? I made my call

Had a pipeline job outside Tulsa last month, wet and windy. Grabbed the stick rig over my dual shield setup. Took longer, but zero porosity and the client signed off on the first x-ray. Anyone else ditch wire on rough weather jobs?
