Chose between a 7018 root and 6010 on a pressure vessel in Gary, and it cost me a Saturday
Had a 3/16 inch root to run on a small vessel at the shop in Gary, Indiana, and the foreman told me pick one and stick with it. I went 6010 for the penetration instead of 7018, and the x-ray came back clean on the first try, but I lost most of Saturday grinding out my restarts. Next time I'm keeping the 6010 but bumping my amps up 10 to stay ahead of the puddle. What are you all running for roots on thinner wall stuff?
