That week I played 8 new board games at a local convention and it burned me out

Last month I drove down to the Springfield game con for a Saturday. Brought my trade pile and everything. I got through 8 new games in about 10 hours - stuff like Brass, Dune Imperium, some weird euro about fishing. By game 6 my brain was toast. I kept forgetting rules and mixing up victory conditions. The last game I played I scored negative points in Terraforming Mars because I misread a card. Anyone else hit a wall like that at a con and just need to stop and grab food for an hour?

Yeah exactly, eight games in a day is like speed dating board games and it leaves you empty.
