That player kept rolling natural 1s for 3 hours straight at game night
Last Friday at my local game shop, one guy in our D&D group failed every single d20 roll for a whole session, even simple checks like opening a stuck door. His dice were clearly fine because I saw them pass a balance test earlier, but it was like the game itself cursed him. Has anyone else seen a string of bad luck like that mess up a game night for someone?

Man, that's just how life works with random stuff, ain't it?

Oh man, that's brutal. Feels bad when the dice just hate you for no reason lol. Hope your luck turns around next time.

I read somewhere that the odds of failing every single roll in a 4-hour session are like one in several billion or something crazy (though I'm probably butchering the math). Had a buddy in our Pathfinder group go 0 for 12 on attack rolls one night and just sat there staring at his dice like they personally betrayed him. Sometimes the RNG gods just decide to mess with someone for no reason at all (and it's hilarious for everyone else at the table, but you gotta hide your smile).
