PSA: My copy of Scythe's factory-sealed board had a huge crease right through the middle

I opened my brand new box last weekend and the main board was folded wrong at the factory, leaving a deep crease that won't lie flat. I'm torn between contacting the publisher for a replacement or just living with it, since the game still works. Has anyone had luck getting a replacement board from Stonemaier Games for something like this?

Oh man, that's brutal for a brand new game. I'd be so mad lol. Definitely contact them, Stonemaier is supposed to have great customer service. You paid for a new, undamaged product, not a factory second. The crease would drive me nuts every single time I set it up. Just shoot them an email with a picture, worst they can say is no.

Seriously, it's just a crease on a game board though, right? How much does that actually matter when you're playing?

Totally agree, it's the principle of the thing. You spend good money on a new game, you should get a perfect copy. That crease is a constant reminder you got a flawed product. Stonemaier's whole brand is about quality, so they should make it right. I've heard they'll often just send out a whole new board no questions asked. It's worth the five minutes to send that email.
