My brother-in-law swore Sentinels of the Multiverse was unplayable, then we played 4 games in a row
My brother-in-law kept saying Sentinels of the Multiverse was broken because one hero just tracks damage while the others do everything, and he refused to touch it for about 2 years. When I finally got him to sit down at his place in Fort Wayne, he picked Tempest and we beat Baron Blade on the third try, then he asked to run it again the same night. The bookkeeping is a pain with all the little modifiers, but the hero decks play so differently that it stopped feeling samey by game 3. He still grips about the rulebook though. Anyone got a good house rule for tracking all those damage buffs and debuffs without the table turning into a spreadsheet?
