Can we talk about that Kickstarter game that fell apart on launch day

I backed a game called "Skyward Siege" last June and the game arrived with MISSING pieces and a rulebook full of errors. Has anyone else dealt with a crowdfunded game that completely failed to deliver on what was promised?

The whole Kickstarter landscape has become a gamble at this point. Backed a project last year called "Crown of Embers" that was two years late and came with a broken mini and cards that didn't match the rulebook. They offered a PDF fix, which felt like a slap in the face after spending over a hundred bucks. Crowdfunding is basically pre-ordering a promise, and too many creators just walk away once the money is in hand.

Wait wasn't Crown of Embers from Frost Giant Studios not a Kickstarter?
