At a game night in Portland, I saw someone bring a binder of printed rule clarifications

It was at a cafe called Mox Boarding House about six months ago. This guy pulled out a three ring binder with maybe 50 pages of official FAQ printouts for his favorite games. He said he got tired of rules arguments that killed the mood. Now I keep a folder on my phone with PDFs of the latest rulebooks for my top 10 games. It saved a game of Root last week when we forgot how dominance cards worked. Do you keep any kind of quick reference stuff on hand for rules?

Watched my friend's game of Twilight Imperium totally stall out over a trade rule. Now he keeps the official living rules document bookmarked on his tablet. It's a lifesaver for those big, messy games.

Smart move, saves so much time at the table.

That binder idea is smart but seems like a lot of work. My group just picks a player to be the final call on rules for the night.
