The guy across from me, probably in his sixties, noticed I kept flipping through my cards to recheck what I had. He just said, 'If you keep looking, you're telling everyone what you're afraid of drawing.' That one line changed how I hold my hand at every table since. I started paying attention to my own tells, little habits like tapping the table or the way I spread my cards. It's not about winning more, it's about respecting the people who're trying to read you. I still think about that guy every time I catch myself doing it. Has anyone else had a random comment from a fellow player that completely shifted how they play?

That's the same thing as when someone points out you check your phone right when a convo gets quiet, you know? Little habits give away way more than we realize, and once you see it you can't unsee it.
