Learned that lesson the hard way with drills. Spent big on a name brand once and the chuck stripped out in a year. Grabbed a cheap one from the hardware store on sale and it's been going strong for three years now. I just take care of the cheap one, clean it after use, and it does everything I need. Sometimes the extra money is just paying for the label.
