The $15 harbor freight anvil stand I rigged up actually holds

I was skeptical about using a cheap anvil stand for my 110 pound anvil. After a month of heavy hammering on it in my garage in Peoria, it hasn't budged an inch. I added a couple of chain links and bolts to the base for extra grip on the concrete floor. Anyone else made a budget stand work, or is this just a matter of time before something cracks?
