Used to watch 3 episodes at 2x speed, now I do one a night and actually remember the plot
For about two years I was burning through shows on 1.5x or 2x speed just to clear my watchlist, and I could not tell you a single character name from any of them. Back in March my sister in Boise asked me what happened at the end of Severance and I just sat there with nothing. So I tried an experiment for 30 days: one episode per night, no phone, no skipping the intro. It took me six weeks to finish one show instead of four days, but I picked up on stuff I had totally missed before, like the background details in the office scenes. Curious if anyone else has tried slowing down like this, or did it just drive you nuts?
