The night my DVR filled up during a snowstorm last February changed how I watch shows
I live in Cleveland and we got hit with 18 inches of snow back in February. My DVR maxed out at 300 hours and I lost the last two episodes of a series I was following. Now I only keep three shows saved at a time and delete as I go. Has anyone else had their recording setup fail on them at a bad time?

Hang on a sec, I gotta push back a little. 300 hours is a ton of space (most DVRs are way smaller, like 150 or 200). Maybe yours was just acting up with the snowstorm glitching the signal, not actually full. I've had mine say it's "full" before when it was really just a software hiccup from the weather. Try a hard reset next time, unplug it for a minute. That saved me from losing an entire season of a show once.

Fair point about the storage, but some of the newer ones pack 300 easy. Snowstorm messing with it makes more sense though, always the worst timing for that stuff.
