The 24 hour marathon rule from a Brooklyn watch party changed my show picks

A buddy of mine in Brooklyn hosting weekly binge nights told me nobody gets to suggest a show unless they can pitch it in 60 seconds flat. That rule forced me to actually think about what makes something binge worthy versus just entertaining. Now I skip anything that needs 3 episodes to hook me. Has that time limit worked for anyone else or do you give shows a longer leash?
