Pro tip: Let a broken remote force you into a binge session
So my TV remote stopped working last week during a rainstorm. I was stuck on some channel playing reruns of 'Cheers'. Always thought it was just a bunch of people in a bar talking. But with no way to change it, I figured why not. Ended up laughing so hard the guy upstairs banged on the floor. Binged three seasons in two days. Turns out the jokes are sharp and the characters grow on you. Now I tell everyone to give it a shot when they need a comfort binge.

Oh man, I love when stuff like that happens. My remote died once and I got stuck on some home renovation show. Thought I'd hate it but now I know way too much about crown molding. It's funny how being forced to sit with something can make you see the good in it. Cheers is a classic for a reason, all those characters feel real. Glad your broken remote turned into a happy accident. Maybe we should all let our batteries die more often.

Totally get that 'forced to sit with something' thing @hannahdixon.
