My sister said she 'watched' a whole season while scrolling on her phone
She was talking about that new detective show, 'Rivertown', and said she got through it in a day. I asked her who the killer was and she just shrugged. It made me think, if you're not even looking at the screen, are you really watching it? I feel like the whole point of a good show is to get lost in it, not just have it on as noise. Does anyone else get annoyed when people say they binged something but clearly didn't pay attention?

It drives me crazy too. You miss all the little details that make a show good. My roommate does the same thing and then asks me to explain the plot. What's even the point?

But what if she still enjoyed the vibe of it? Some shows are just good background while you do other stuff.
