My internet went out right at the finale of the show I was binging

It happened last night, right as the main character was about to reveal the big secret in the last episode. My screen just froze and the wifi symbol went gray. I spent 45 minutes trying to reset the router, but nothing worked. I had to wait until this morning to watch the final 15 minutes, and it totally killed the mood. Has anyone else had a streaming disaster ruin a show's ending for them?

My phone's hotspot saved me when my router died during a movie's big fight. I just turned it on and switched the TV's connection, got through the last twenty minutes without a buffer. It uses a lot of data, but for a finale it's worth it.
