My book club's weekly show debates have me questioning if binging alone is actually better

I love the good talks we have after each episode, but part of me misses just watching a whole season without stopping, so what do you think is better?

Oh man, that's a tough one... I get it. Last month I tried to keep up with my friend's weekly watch of that new spy show, but I caved and finished it alone in two nights. The plot twists just hit different when you don't have to wait a week to see what happens next... but then I had no one to gasp with about the big reveal. Felt kinda empty.

Honestly, I'm totally with you. Remember when that fantasy show dropped its whole last season at once? I called in sick and watched it all in one go, no joke. The story just flows better back to back. But then I tried to talk about it with my buddy who was watching weekly, and I had to bite my tongue for a month to avoid spoilers. Felt pretty lame.

Yeah, the "biting your tongue for a month" is the real torture. You end up making weirdly vague comments like "oh, that character sure is wearing clothes in that scene, huh?" just to feel part of the chat.
