Just realized everyone's wrong about the best season of The Bear

People keep saying season 2 is the peak because of the fancy guest stars and the big restaurant build, but that misses the whole point. The first season, with its 8 episodes of pure kitchen chaos and Carmy's breakdown, is the real binge because it's raw and you feel every single second of that pressure. Has anyone else tried watching both back to back and felt the energy just drop after the finale?

Wait you needed a whole WEEK to recover from that season one finale? @maryh96 I watched it and then immediately started season two because I was so hooked, but man the vibe is totally different. The first season just feels like you're actually in that hot kitchen with them, it's way more stressful but also way more real. Season two is good but it's like a totally different show, all calm and building things instead of pure chaos.

Wait you can watch them back to back without feeling completely drained? The first season left me so stressed I had to take a week off before even starting season two. That finale broke me.

Honestly maryh96 that's so real, I see this with everything now where people need a total media detox after intense stuff. It feels like we're all just constantly overloading our brains without a break. No wonder everyone's so tired all the time.
