Just learned the first season of 'The Bear' was shot in 18 days and it blew my mind
I was listening to a podcast with one of the showrunners, and they dropped that fact. Eighteen days. For a whole season of TV that looks and feels that good. I binged it twice last year and the stress in that kitchen felt so real, I figured they spent months getting every shot. Knowing they did it in less than three weeks makes the whole thing hit different. It explains the crazy energy, but also makes me wonder how much of the actors' stress was just real tiredness. Shows you don't need a huge budget or a long time, you just need a clear idea and people who can pull it off. Has anyone else had a show's behind-the-scenes detail change how you see it?

Knowing they shot it in 18 days, my biggest creative project last year was reorganizing my sock drawer.

My 2023 masterpiece was finally sorting all my loose batteries. I had a whole shoebox of mixed up AAs and AAAs that I finally put into labeled bags. Felt like a real accomplishment.

Wait, you sort your batteries by type too?
