I think the hype around 'Stranger Things' season 4 is way overblown

I watched the whole thing in my living room over a weekend, and honestly, the Vecna plot felt like a rehash of older horror movies. The special effects were cool, but the story dragged for me, especially during the California scenes. What's a show you think gets too much praise?

Totally get that. The pacing was off. For me, it's "The Office" after Steve Carell left. The jokes got too mean and the new characters never clicked. It kept getting praised like nothing changed.

Disagree hard, the later seasons found a darker humor that really worked. Robert California was a genius addition.

Ugh, preach. It's like they forgot how to write actual character moments and just went "okay, who can we make super awkward now?" lol. Andy Bernard turning into a full on rage monster was such a weird choice after all that buildup. And don't even get me started on the whole "Will they finally be happy? Nope, let's ruin it" carousel they put Jim and Pam on. Like we didn't already sit through 7 seasons of that lol.
